I apologize for not updating as much as I'd like. Jordan has been a very busy man the past couple of months. He hasn't been in the hospital since the last time I posted. He has had some follow up appointments in Cincinnati. We met with his genetics doctor and his ENT doctor. He has been having some pretty bad ear infections and we can't seem to get rid of them. I had my blood drawn to see if I am a carrier of the deletion Jordan has. The results should be back within the next 4 weeks. There is a 10% chance I am. I've always wanted to know. Jordan was also chosen to be the Ambassador baby for the March of Dimes of 2011. I have attended meetings and spoke about Jordan and told his story. We were a part of a world record setting, which took place from Feb. 19th to Feb. 21st. A few friends of ours stayed on live air for 53 hours. The Killer Neace, Special K, and Super Dave hold the record. They raised over 500.00 for Jordan's trust fund. We were super excited and very glad to have them as friends. We are getting Team Baby Jordan tshirts made for the March of Dimes walk. So anyone that wants to be on our team, please let me know. I do have facebook, so just look me up. Or you can call me at 487-0810. I'll be sure that you get one! We are wanting to have the biggest team! :)

Jordan was in the hospital from Friday to Sunday which is today. He had an upper respitory virus. He is needing oxygen which is a new thing. Hopefully he will get better and come out of that. We have had some good news this week. Jordan was chosen to be the 2011 March of Dimes Ambassador Baby! We are so excited! Everyone please come out and march in April! We saw Pulmonary on the 19th at Cincinnati Children's and he was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. It's not really severe, but it's still there. So we'll be going down that road to try and correct that. We have an appointment on Thursday to have an Echo of his heart done. That is just a follow up appt., so hopefully that will be an uneventful trip. I will keep everyone posted. God Bless.

Today has been a good day for Jordan. He got a good nights rest with mininum coughing and gagging. He got up this morning and watched his cartoons just as always. We did some exercises and he played with his toy. He has had some visitors this week. My brother and his family from Indiana have been staying with us. They will be going home tommorrow. They like to come every January. He has a 4 yr old little girl. She is adorable and a sight! She's so funny and smart. So tonight, we pack for our trip to Cincinnati. I'm kinda excited! I'll keep posted with any updates from the docs. :)

So, it has been a few weeks since I have posted. I stay pretty busy most of the time. But the last few weeks have been very uneventful, which is a good thing for Jord! He has been such a good boy. He always is! He goes weeks at a time and doesn't even make a whimper. Even after all that he has been through, he has always kept a smile on his face. He is such an angel. We have a very important event coming up in February. The Killer Neace from WKCB 107.1 The Killer Bee will be attempting to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest time on the air. Russia holds the present record with 52 hours. He and others will try to go longer. In doing so, he will also attempt to fundraise for my baby Jordan. We are estatic! I cannot put into words how appreciative we are for not only his kindness, but everyone's who supports it! I was overly joyed with the news when he informed me that he would be doing so. I have never felt more honored. We have always said that God will make a way, and He always does. Jordan has an appointment on Jan. 18th in Cincinnati and I hope everyone remembers Jordan and our family in their thoughts and prayers. He will be seeing his lung doctor. Hopefully so new significant news. If so, we hope for GOOD news! :) God Bless!

I haven't had the chance to post in a couple weeks. Seems I have more time to post while Jordan's in the hospital. But we have been home since we left Cincinnati last which was December 9th. He has done pretty well aside from an ear infection. He is up to almost 34 lbs and is looking good! He got a new pair of glasses the suit him much better than the last pair. He has been sleeping well and his mouth is looking very good. (Cleft Palate Repair 10/25). On Dec. 11th we had a benefit singing at our church and raised $1000 for Jordan's trust fund. Thanks to everyone who donated or prayed or thought about our family. God has really blessed us through the holidays. We had a wonderful Christmas. Just being home with my family was a blessing. Jordan and his brother were very blessed, Santa was very good to them. As well as Cory & I. :)
We have appointments in January at Cincinnati. Hopefully we won't be in the hospital before then. I'll try my best to keep posted as much as I can. Thanks for reading.

I didn't get the chance to post yesterday, so now I'm trying to catch up. Last night was the benefit singing and I had the greatest time ever! I spoke to the church and I felt better. We raised $1000. Thanks to everyone who came and to those who were able to donate. Thanks so much for making the trips and stays possible. Today, I attended church, but Jordan stayed home. It was frigid out and snowing. I loved it. I love attending church there. We have an appointment in Cincinnati on Tuesday, weather permitting. Lol. I hope we can make it.

Today has been a good and busy day. We are now in Hazard. Jordan had a wonderful night last night. He slept great. Today, he had therapy with Devina. He also had his hair cut considering he was well overdue. He also got a new pair of glasses. I love them and so does he! We also attended the Daniel's Care Christmas Party. We took pictures with Santa and got to see all of the other Daniel's Care babies. They're all so precious. Tomorrow is the benefit singing for Jordan at our Church, Heaven Bound Full Gospel Church at 6pm. We hope to see everyone there! We are having a dinner. There is no charge but we will be taking any donations.
