We are currently at Cincinnati Children's Hospital as of today. We have been here since Nov. 30th this time. Jordan has been having respitory problems and is battling with pneumonia once again. He has recently, in the past month, been having episodes where he just completely stops breathing and it is a complete mystery. He coded once in November due to this problem. We are waiting for a CT Scan of his chest to see how much damage has been done to his lungs these past two year and also an MRI of the brain to try to determine the cause of these "Seizure Like" episodes. As of today, he is stable. We have alot of problems with access. His veins are horrible, therefore we have tried for the PICC line which is a more long term access for infusing antibiotics and fluids and a way to get blood without poking him again. He deals with that almost everyday of his life as well. We are hoping for a Medi-Port soon. Which is a port that is placed surgically under the skin that can be accessed at anytime we need it. We are enjoying everyday with Jordan. He is our Angel.
